I moved around England a bit when I was younger as my parents were publicans, I believe this has allowed me to communicate with a wide range of people, something that is important in the dive industry.

Before coming to the UAE I did not really have an interest in diving but I loved the sea, especially sailing and ultimately wanted a water sports school with a bar and restaurant.

I undertook an Open Water course as a birthday present at Divers Down where I initially did not like going under water. However Paul took me under his wing and got me really interested and involved. I continued my courses with other staff members and really enjoyed the experience.

I have done a ton of the specialist courses; I am a Master Scuba diver, Assistant PADI Instructor and enjoy getting my hands dirty at the centre.

My interest in Project Management and Business Development prompted me to look into combining my experiences in industry and joining Paul and the team at the dive centre as co-owner/business development manager.
