I always loved water so I started out free diving on an amateur level very early. When I turned 16, my mum gave me money to take the first certificate but since there weren’t any dive centers in the area I lived, it took 7 more years until I finally took it in Sweden and there I continued the rest of my career up to DM. I was mainly a cold water diver with dives in Canada, Scotland and work in a diveshop in Stockholm. Before 2010 I managed to get out of my dry suit only for 1 week in Egypt and a weekend in France.

2010 the diveshop I worked for decided to sell a liveaboard trip to Thailand, mainly for staff  in the shop and our best customers. Off we went to the Similan Islands and even though cold water diving can be amazing, I've been stuck in South East Asia and warm water since.
